1. Who we are
Wireside Studios Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales (No. 17139269). When we say "we", "us", or "Wireside", we mean Wireside Studios Ltd.

2. What data we collect
We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it through our contact form:
- Name, so we can address you personally.
- Email address, so we can reply to your enquiry.
- Project category: the type of product or engagement you are exploring (e.g. new iOS app, existing app work, backend/APIs). This helps us route your message to the right person.
- Approximate budget range: the funding band you select so we can assess fit before a call. This is not a binding quote.
- Message content: the details of your enquiry.
We also use Cloudflare Turnstile on our contact form to prevent spam. Turnstile may collect limited technical data (such as browser type) to verify you are a real person. This data is processed by Cloudflare under their privacy policy.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (such as page views) to understand how our website is used. This service does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.
Job applicants
If you apply for a role through our careers pages or by email, we also collect the information in your application: your name, email address, location, any profile or work-sample links you share, your note, and your CV.
- Why: to assess your application for the role you applied for, and for similar roles, and to contact you about it. Our lawful basis is your consent and the steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
- Who sees it: the people at Wireside involved in hiring. Your application is delivered to our inbox by Resend and is not stored in a separate applicant database.
- How long: up to 12 months after the role is filled, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we agree to keep it longer.
You can withdraw your consent or ask us to delete your application at any time by emailing hello@wiresidestudios.com.
3. How we use your data
We use the data you provide solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry.
- Send you a confirmation email acknowledging your message.
- Follow up regarding potential project work, only if you have contacted us first.
We do not use your data for marketing, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone other than the service providers listed below.
4. Third-party services
We use the following services to operate our website and handle enquiries:
- Vercel: website hosting and web analytics.
- Resend: email delivery for contact form submissions, job applications, and confirmations.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: spam protection on the contact and application forms.
Each provider processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels for marketing purposes.
5. Cookies
Our website does not set any first-party cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a cookie required for bot detection. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
6. Data retention
We retain contact form submissions in our email inbox for as long as necessary to respond to and manage the enquiry. We do not store submissions in a separate database. You may request deletion at any time.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk).
